Jolene Keane
President
Jolene Keane, born and raised on Kauaʻi, has a deep connection to culture, community, and ʻohana that continues to shape both her personal and professional life. She finds joy in the simple things—early morning walks, yoga, poetry, and quality time with family—and is happily married to Benjamin Keane, a partnership that reflects her strong foundation in love, balance, and shared values.
Jolene has been a dedicated leader at Keokiʻs Paradise since 2012 and currently serves as Assistant General Manager. Her long-standing commitment to excellence, team development, and guest experience reflects her strong work ethic and passion for hospitality. In 2025, she stepped into a new leadership role as President of the ONōmilu Foundation, further expanding her impact within the community.
Guided by her core values of ʻohana, community involvement, and grit, Jolene is deeply passionate about perpetuating Hawaiian culture by any means necessary. She believes that by creating a better today, we sustain a stronger, more meaningful future for the next generation.

Kauaiiki Hornstine Lee
Director
Kauaiiki was born and raised on the island of Kauai. A graduate of Kauai High School, he has been employed by Kauai Sea Tours for the past 15 years. Starting as a deckhand, Kauai worked his way up to become a licensed boat captain giving tours of Kauai’s coastline on its 30’ catamaran and its 15’ outrigger. As a tour boat captain, Kauai has been able to help educate and pass along the history of our island to thousands of visitors.
Kauai has been a student of Hula and Hawaiian chanting for over 10 years, performing with his halau and passing on his love of hula to his two young daughters.
Kauai grew up spending time at Nomilo and has a deep understanding and respect for the cultural traditions and history of this ancient place.

Lindsey Lee-Hornstine
Director
As a high school counselor on Kaua‘i, Lindsey Lee-Hornstine is driven by a deep-seated passion for helping students evolve into the most well-rounded and authentic versions of themselves. She brings a unique background in marine exploration and a lifelong commitment to education to her work at Onōmilu, where she serves alongside her husband, Kaua‘iiki, and their daughters, Tuahinemaikalani and Kamonaaalohamaikalani. Together, they are devoted to restoring Nomilu as a vital cultural and scientific legacy for future generations.
Lindsey champions the vision of a dynamic outdoor classroom where students can engage deeply with aquaculture and STEM through hands-on land stewardship. By bridging the gap between modern science and ancestral knowledge, she fosters a deep sense of community responsibility to help inspires the next wave of environmental leaders to grow in both character and capability as stewards of the ‘āina
